About Us
Where It All Began
As a Child, I watched my grandma and my mom sew. I would sit for hours next to them, mesmerized by their ability to create something beautiful out of scraps. I fell in love with the entire process. I guess you could say that sewing is in my genes.
When my grandma passed away, one of the items I asked for was her sewing machine. I learned how to sew on that machine, and it always made me feel close to her whenever I would sit and create with it. But truth be told, I always just did basic curtains or pillow cases for myself.
Life Changes
Fast forward a few years to the birth of my second child who is now 6. She, like many sweet princesses, LOVES to play dress up. But all the costumes were to itchy and the seams bothered her as well. She has a sensory issue with texture. So, I began making her Disney inspired dress up outfits. Then I began making her everyday clothing. And then, her friend wanted an outfit, and her friend wanted and outfit and then my son wanted clothing too, and then his friends, and so on.
And so, The Everyday Fairy Tale came to be.
Who is the Fairy Stitchmother?
My name is Tiffany and I am the designer and seamstress behind The Everyday Fairy Tale. It is my joy to create custom clothing that is as comfortable as they are cute, for the princesses and princes in our lives.
